The intervention aims to support and increase the offer of traditional agri-food products (PAT1), protected geographical indications (DOP, PGI and TSG) and organic, in the sector of accommodation, catering and public establishments, ensuring better knowledge and consumption of agri-food products from the Abruzzo region, representative of the history and food and wine culture of the area. The intervention also aims to increase the market share of these products, also with a view to restoring market balance and thus containing the effects resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Who is it aimed at?
The following are eligible to submit a request for relief: a) catering businesses with the provision of meals falling within the regional and national culinary tradition; b) accommodation businesses, including farmhouses, with the provision of meals falling within the regional and national culinary tradition; c) public establishments, including schools and hospitals with administration activities. The companies referred to in letters a) and b) can submit a request for relief directly or give a mandate to associations of chefs and restaurateurs established in accordance with the law.
What does it predict
This intervention promotes the valorisation of certified traditional agri-food products and the ecological transition in the catering sector. In order not to extremely fragment the substance of the expected contributions and to create the minimum economic conditions to ensure that companies are encouraged to participate in the tender, a minimum grantable contribution threshold of 1300.00 euros has been set. The contribution is granted on a current account.
