The call is intended for companies located in the Emilia-Romagna region that want to carry out Proof Of Concept projects to validate, develop, prototype results or products of the "Intellectual Heritage" acquired by Universities, public and private research bodies, startups and innovative SMEs, academic and research spin-offs, including foreign ones. In particular, the projects must include industrial research and/or experimental development activities in order to validate in an industrial environment a result or product of the intellectual heritage already created and tested in a laboratory environment. 

Who is it aimed at?

The entities eligible to submit proposals are companies of any size, competing individually or collaboratively, located in the Emilia-Romagna region. 

What does it predict

Only industrial research and experimental development activities are considered eligible. The projects must include at least 40% of the overall cost for activities attributable to experimental development and the remaining part for industrial research activities, on the following topics: A. Technologies, systems and components for the conversion and use of energy from renewable sources B. Technologies and systems for energy transport, distribution and storage. Smart Sector Integration: Flexible, Integrated, Resilient and Digitalized Energy Networks (HPC)C. Technologies, systems and components for the production, distribution, accumulation and direct use of green hydrogen and for the production of e-fuel D. Capture, sequestration, purification and use of CO2 also through the use of green hydrogen or renewable sources.
