This call is intended for companies located in the Emilia-Romagna region that want to carry out Proof of Concept projects to validate, develop, prototype results or products of the Intellectual Heritage acquired by Universities, public and private research bodies, start-ups and innovative SMEs, spin-offs academics and research, including foreign ones. In particular, the projects must include industrial research and/or experimental development activities in order to validate in an industrial environment a result or product of the intellectual heritage already created and tested in a laboratory environment.

Who is it aimed at?

The subjects eligible to submit project proposals are: companies of any size, external to the ECOSISTER consortium, which compete in single or collaborative mode.

What does it predict

Only industrial research and experimental development activities are considered eligible. The projects must include at least 40% of the overall cost for activities attributable to experimental development and the remaining part for industrial research activities. The subsidy that can be granted for each project (both single and collaborative) will be a minimum of 100,000 euros up to a maximum of 300,000 euros. The relief that can be granted to each individual company may be a maximum of 150,000 euros. The benefits are provided in the form of a non-repayable contribution under the exemption regime pursuant to Article 25 of the General Regulation on the exemption of state aid by category (EU Regulation no. 651/2014). The aid intensity will be calculated on the basis of the type of activity and the size of the company according to pre-established percentages indicated in the notice.
