Things

Interventions that the Lazio Region promotes for the purposes of updating and qualifying workers on health and safety issues in the workplace with the aim of promoting awareness of the complexity of the "safety" theme and the importance of behaviors correct to prevent risks present in the work environment.

Who is it aimed at?

Action 1 – analysis and design of organizational models and management systems regarding safety and health in the workplace: − business owners and/or employers; − managers and/or personnel with top management functions; − personnel responsible for safety and health in the workplace. Action 2 – training activity: − workers employed in companies operating in units located in the regional territory with employment contracts (permanent, fixed-term, full-time or part-time) and with contractual forms envisaged by current legislation, including individuals hired with apprenticeship contract, provided that the training carried out as part of the project presented does not in any way replace the training required by law, provided for apprentices; − business owners and/or employers.

What does it predict

Action 1 – analysis and design activities of organizational models and management systems regarding safety and health in the workplace. The activities to be carried out within the scope of this Action include a specific consultancy service, aimed at the recipients referred to in the following paragraph 5 "Recipients", and aimed at: − preparing an analysis of the organizational and management systems used by the company, in order to identify areas/aspects of improvement of the processes relating to the protection of the health and safety of workers; − elaboration and subsequent dissemination of organizational models and management systems, also from an experimental and/or innovative perspective, aimed at improving working conditions with respect to the safety and health of workers, also providing specific procedures linked to the risks of the reference sector; − planning of system actions with the aim of promoting interventions within companies aimed at creating coherent risk assessment and management systems; − creation of a monitoring system as a useful tool to verify the correct application of the procedures adopted and, if necessary, to implement any corrective measures to make protection actions more effective. Action 2 - training activity The training courses must be of an "incremental" nature, i.e. additional to the mandatory training required by the current safety regulations and must concern a single sector identified with respect to the sections indicated in the ATECO Codes 2007 updated 2022. Furthermore, they must be designed, consistently with the type of risk (High, Medium and Low) associated with the sectors of activity identified with the State, Regions and Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano Agreement of 21 December 2011. The training intervention must be structured taking into account of the following components: − training on the specific risks linked to the sector to which the company belongs and the appropriate measures to prevent such risks, as well as on safety and hygiene procedures; − training for the in-depth analysis of the particular types of risk present in the company and specifically linked to the task carried out by the worker (or group), on the safety devices and safety procedures relating to the machines/systems to which the worker (or group) is employed; − managerial training, provided for those who hold management roles responsibility with respect to safety, training on aspects relating to communication, emergency management (moments of crisis/panic, specific risk situations, etc.), organizational and management models, assessment of work-related risk, etc.
