With this Notice, the regional administration intends to grant companies incentives to hire disadvantaged, very disadvantaged unemployed workers and workers with disabilities. The administration intends to encourage the hiring of workers resident in the territory of the Calabria Region by companies that: - will contribute in the regional territory to the implementation of public works planned using the national, community and regional resources of the new programming cycle (such as example: infrastructural works, strategic interventions in the energy, digital, water and waste sectors, road infrastructure, completion of the electrification of the railway line, etc.); - will allow the use of working methods belonging to the category of Flexible Working such as Remote working; - allowing the "no longer unemployed" worker to remain in the Calabrian territory and contribute to the economic development of the Region.
Who is it aimed at?
The notice is aimed at companies, regardless of the size class they belong to, which may not have an operational headquarters in the Calabrian territory as long as the work performance covered by the contract is mainly carried out in the regional territory. Companies operating in all sectors with the exception of those operating: – in the fishing and aquaculture sector referred to in Regulation (EC) no. 104/2000 of the Council; – in the sector of primary production of agricultural products; – in the excluded sectors listed in note 4 of Annex II of Regulation (EU) no. 964/2014 of the Commission of 11 September 2014.
What does it predict
The employment incentive is granted for the hiring, on a permanent basis, of unemployed workers - disadvantaged, very disadvantaged and with disabilities, resident or domiciled in the territory of the Calabria Region, which leads to a net increase in the number of employees compared to the average of the twelve months preceding the submission of the application. The eligible expenses are represented by: – salary costs incurred in the 12 months following subscription in the case of disadvantaged workers; – salary costs incurred in the 24 months following subscription in the case of very disadvantaged workers and workers with disabilities; In accordance with the provisions of referred to in the Art. 32 and 33 of Reg. 651/2014: - the grantable amount is equal to 50% of the eligible costs in the case of hiring disadvantaged workers; - the grantable amount is equal to 75% of the eligible costs in the case of hiring workers with disabilities.
