Who is it aimed at?
Companies processing and marketing agricultural products. Aid can be granted to companies affected by the crisis resulting from the Russian-Ukrainian conflict: - Companies active in the primary production of agricultural products; - Companies active in the processing and marketing of agricultural products. The transformation product can also be a non-agricultural agri-food product (outside Annex I of the TFEU).
What does it predict
Temporary help for the high cost of energy for companies processing and marketing agricultural products. The aid interventions are aimed at compensating "the difference between the 2022 energy cost and the 2021 energy cost". - Line A) Companies active in primary production: Flat rate aid for each liter of agricultural fuel withdrawn, up to a maximum of 20,000 euros for each company. The aid to be granted will be commensurate with the fuel withdrawals made in the year 2022. The quantity of fuel withdrawn will be acquired through the “UMA Sicilia” information system (“Quadrifoglio” platform). - Line B) Companies active in transformation and marketing: Flat rate aid calculated on the basis of the "difference between the cost of energy (electricity and gas) in the calendar year 2022 and the cost in the calendar year 2021" up to a maximum of 100,000 euros for each company. - Line C) Active companies in primary production: The aid interventions are aimed at compensating "the difference between the 2022 energy cost and the 2021 energy cost" up to a maximum of 20,000 euros for each company and a minimum of 500 euros. By way of example, consumption for the withdrawal of irrigation water, heating of greenhouses, agritourism activities and rural buildings can be taken into consideration.
