Things

The relief measure supports companies' research and development projects, to be carried out after the date of submission of the application. Research and development projects are supported, also carried out jointly with other entities, relating to the following activities: - industrial research; - experimental development. Industrial research and experimental development activities must be aimed at the creation of new products, processes or services or at the significant improvement of existing products, processes or services. The facilitation measure is divided into the following sub-measures: - experimental research and development projects carried out by small, medium and large companies (sub-measure A1); - experimental research and development programs carried out by company research centers (sub-measure A2).

Who is it aimed at?

The initiative is aimed at companies of any size (including research centers) that meet the required requirements. The eligible projects must: a) be carried out within an operational unit located in the territory of the Province of Trento; b) be started within 3 months from the date of granting the incentive; c) for sub-measure A1 - Research and experimental development, be completed within 3 years from the start date of the project; d) for submeasure A2 - Research and development programs of research centres, be completed within 5 years from the start date of the project.

What does it predict

The projects are examined with an evaluation procedure. A non-repayable contribution under the exemption regime is envisaged for a minimum permitted expenditure exceeding 200,000 euros.
