The facilitative measure supports the introduction of highly qualified personnel into companies, made available on secondment by a research and knowledge dissemination organization or a large seconding company that carries out research and development activities. The costs incurred for the provision of highly qualified personnel on secondment are subsidized.
Who is it aimed at?
The initiative is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that meet the required requirements. The highly qualified personnel, made available on secondment, must work in an operational unit located in the Province of Trento and begin their activity within 3 months from the date of granting the incentive and must carry out tasks related to at least one of the following activities: - fundamental research; - industrial research; - experimental research; - process innovation. Highly qualified staff must fill a newly created function within the company and must not replace other staff. The cost incurred and the activity carried out by the highly qualified personnel must result from the secondment agreement stipulated between the company requesting the incentive and the research and knowledge dissemination organization or the large seconding company. The introduction of highly qualified personnel into the company must take place after the date of submission of the application and must be completed within 3 years from the start date of the application. In the event that an application has already been submitted under this facilitation measure, a new application can be submitted only after the date of completion of the previous facilitated initiative.
What does it predict
A non-repayable contribution under the exemption regime is envisaged for a minimum permitted expenditure exceeding 20,000 euros. Applications are examined with an evaluation procedure.
